Plan Notes
Need to put squashes in a better spot with more room, or do not plant beans and peppers under them. They take up a signficant amount of space and choke out the sun for the other plants. Be more procative about grasshopper and other bug control. Stink bugs were terrible this year and decimated the broccoli and cabbage. Be ware of squash vine borers - need to do the BT injection next go round to help prevent them better. Lost a few squash plants before they were done. Watermelon from seed did not sprout at all. May have a bad batch of seed, or need to try to start indoors earlier. Big squash vines need support. Maybe use the big piece of the playscape for squash climbing?? Spaghetti squash and Pumpkins especially.
