About this Garden Plan
My 3rd year of gardening, 4th if you include the 1st year where I did a container garden. Last year I mowed an area of my backyard, tilled a smaller area and put in a pumpkin patch. I acquired and fixed up my grandpa's 20 year old Poly-Tex green house this spring. It looks brand new and is a very nice addition. I have half the garden planted as of 5/28. Over the next 2 days I'll build a trellis for the peas, plant everything else besides the cabbage and pumpkin patch and brew a few gallons of compost tea to spray on the entire garden to help with the microbial life and fungi. I feed my plants nothing but compost, compost tea and occasional kelp and fish emulsion foliar feed. My garden will soon look like the plan. Here's to another better season than expected!
